Sensowell® Integrated Sensor is integrated into the top layer of the bed material, either mattress or mattress topper. The sensor can be seamlessly inserted into a mattress topper or top layer of any multi-layer mattress by the mattress producer. The sensor system does not alter the comfort of the mattress, as it is virtually invisible to touch. The sensor can be connected to a smartphone via BLE connection or a computer through USB.
Sensowell® Portative Sensor can be placed on top of or in between any layers of the bed. This includes placement on top of or under the mattress topper. The portative sensor can be even placed in direct contact with the body and can be used on surfaces other than bed, such as a yoga mat. The portative sensor has the same functionality as the integrated sensor.
Sensowell® Air Purifier device measures air quality in the room and cleans it. The device measures air temperature, CO2 concentration, humidity, noise and other parameters. Large area filters and fans clean the air if deemed necessary by the analysis of air quality parameters. The device has BLE and USB connectivity.
The purpose of the project is to develop active and passive air purification technologies and technology for monitoring of the human activity during sleep time. For the active purification, air filtering system based on HEPA and ULPA type filters is elaborated. Passive air purification is achieved by incorporating silver nanoparticles into the bed mattress in order to inhibit generation of microorganisms inside. Human activity monitoring is based on a system of various sensors integrated in the mattress. Artificial intelligence based software is developed for the analysis of collected data.
The purpose of the project is to submit patent applications to national patent offices in Europe, USA and China, in order to protect the intellectual property of the company.
